Music Mastermind today announced it has appointed James Mitchell chief technology officer (CTO), reporting to Matt Serletic, Music Mastermind's co-founder and CEO. Mitchell joins the management team from executive positions at Muve Music and Napster, where he served as CTO. In his new role, Mitchell will oversee the continued development and cross-platform expansion of the company's proprietary cloud-based music rendering and rights engine, which powers far-ranging entertainment products.
